United Methodist Church trustees are Christian stewards of the property God has entrusted to the congregation. The trustees supervise and maintain the property of the congregation to ensure that disciple-making ministries of the congregation are effective and that local legal requirements related to the property are satisfied. The LUMC Trustees use the following to guide our actions:
Trustee Vision: Larchmont United Methodist Church (LUMC) is inviting, well maintained, safe, and optimally managed, thereby enabling our facilities to be tools continually adapting for ministry and evangelism.
Goal 1: Stewardship. Become better stewards of God’s gifts to Larchmont United Methodist Church.
Goal 2: Property Maintenance. Continue to improve on how our facilities are managed, maintained, kept safe and are accessible for all.
Goal 3: Enable growth. Enable LUMC facilities to become more inviting and adaptable to meet future needs.
