United Methodist Church trustees are Christian stewards of the property God has entrusted to the congregation. The trustees supervise and maintain the property of the congregation to ensure that disciple-making ministries of the congregation are effective and that local legal requirements related to the property are satisfied. The LUMC Trustees use the following to guide their actions:
Trustee Vision: Larchmont United Methodist Church (LUMC) is inviting, well-maintained, safe, and optimally-managed, thereby enabling our facilities for ministry and evangelism.
Goal 1: Stewardship. Become better stewards of God’s gifts to Larchmont United Methodist Church.
Goal 2: Property Maintenance. Continue to improve how our facilities are managed, maintained, and kept safe and accessible.
Goal 3: Enable growth. Enable LUMC facilities to become more inviting and adaptable to meet future needs.
Monthly Meeting The Trustees meet monthly, typically on the second Monday of every month. All meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
